GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic)
GRP grating is manufactured from glass fiber reinforced resin. It consists of 65% resin, ensuring high resistance to chemicals and UV radiation, and 35% glass fibers, providing excellent mechanical strength.
This composite material offers outstanding durability in aggressive environments requiring enhanced corrosion and moisture resistance.
GRP grating is suitable for industrial, chemical and public applications.
Load-bearing GRP grating in both directions, lighter than steel or stainless steel and suitable for immersion in saltwater.
GEI offers three resin types with different chemical resistance levels:
- Isophthalic resin:
- Properties: flame-retardant, corrosion-resistant, chemically resistant
- Available colors: Grey RAL 7035, Green RAL 6010, Basalt Grey RAL 7012, Beige RAL 1001
- Vinylester resin:
- Property: resistant to highly concentrated chemicals
- Available color: Orange RAL 2002
- Orthophthalic resin: Resistant to a wide range of chemicals (custom-made only)
